This increases book sales, generates more revenue and reduces inventory management losses. The purpose of this project is to identify the factors influencing the sale and return of specific books and to create a model for forecasting sales demand. We will develop an innovative system based on new technology in the printing industries for analyzing and forecasting print runs of publications, supporting optimal planning, printing and post-printing of books, albums, etc. in small circulations, including related to all types of publishing, including history, cultural and national heritage and optimization of stock availability of printed publications. The lack of opportunity for good planning stops publishers from printing small editions of books (high price, risk of non-sale). This severely limits the publication of niche publications – historical books, publications related to folklore, design, cultural and national heritage. Alliance Print is the largest and fastest growing printing company specializing in the production of books and advertising materials. It is equipped with high-tech printing machines and is the largest producer of books for the Bulgarian market. Produces books for Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, etc. Partner Print Now is a company focused on digital printing and bookbinding. After analyzing the market that the largest printing houses in Bulgaria are not focused on digital printing, the company decided to offer services for them, because they lack the necessary experience and competences in this area.
